Hmm... does this mean that the drugs we dose on is the pollution of outer forces and we rehabilitate to our "True Self?"

drug use is a metaphor here so the answer is not exactly to quit drugs, but to find the actual source of your suffering or dis-ease and change what you can of that.  

Clever and pithy ... really like the brevity of this ... adds to its impact. Bravo.

thank you.  in many of my poems i try to do as much with as little as possible.  keeps the focus on some important question also.

I too prefer the short crisp poems ... in both reading and writing. Distilling it down to the essence of it all.
