Once a word escapes the tongue
it cannot be unspoken
And if a heart you carry breaks
that heart will remain broken
Every action that we take will have a consequence
Careless pain inflicted, how does that make sense?
Time keeps marching forward
It won't rewind for us
And once this life has ended,
We all return to dust

Great read! I love the whole ‘cause and effect’ theme and this really rings with me. Beautifully written
