Jelly legs

A frozen popsicle slithered
you took off your stilettos to rub your jelly legs
you can melt it with your velvet
dont let me punish myself
a blood purr... shook the house of cards
in the thunder
I'll never climb out of you

I'll leave fingertip clues
all over you
this is no riddle
or trick of the light
you dont have to subtract
or to divide
the velvet tide
will part ways tonight

Your jelly legs
in the rose bath water
i can smell your distress
crazy with the jelly legs
you retract... and still
your current feels
electric sparks,
drown me
and let me know when exhilleration
should be starting
totally submurged
and underwater i heard
your lullaby
frantic into the night...
