Free Kali

An assassin dressed in robes of white
A vision on Calcutta streets
His garrote dragging through the dust
His pockets stuffed with sweetest meat

Kali looms above the temple door
Her lust frozen in time and stone
Her yoni lowered to the door
The killer finds entrance with the poor

She demands blood sacrifice
Bowls set neatly on the sill
A virgin tapped for purity
Her innocence for zest

The assassin leaves, his garrote tight
His eyes roving for the arrogance
He will deliver this land from dread and fear
His goddess called to life, and grinding near.
