Safe haven

Safe haven by Jay Thomson

Would you travel back through time
to climb back in the womb?
with the knowledge that you've got
the wisdom you've consumed.
To map your life out differently
precision with each choice,
to climb the ladder of success
with your inner voice.
But first go back to when it made
completely perfect sense,
nobody out to get you
care free with no big tests.
A picture perfect place of peace
alone but feeling whole,
an echo of your mummies voice
who's heart you tugged and stole.
Your covered with a safety net
sheltered from the world,
all you feel is warmth and love
so 'please do not disturb'
I love it in my mothers womb
a care free destination,
no broken down relationships
no need to practice patience.
Hopelessly romantic
my child one day you'll see,
god will pair you with another
and you will be set free.
If truth be told she's chosen now
whilst you grow in my womb,
soulmates from the very start
the speck of light consumes.
Each and every little thing
that happens in your life,
directs you to your place of fate
where you will meet your wife.
So fear not child i promise you
life will be ok,
you will have your ups and downs
you'll even lead a stray.
But somehow you will always find
your way back to the centre,
the wisdom that you carry
will make you a great mentor.
Your a special person
that grows inside of me,
my love is unconditional
just you wait and see.
A mothers love has no bounds
no measures to behold,
i bleed for you my only son
you are my pot of gold.
