the concept of being enough
i want to be enough for my parents
from whom i was raised
and of whom i want to make proud
to make them feel as if they haven’t failed
in raising the product of their love
i want to be enough for my friends
the ones who support and hold me
the ones who i met by chance
but love by choice
i want to be enough for you
as you deserve more
than a broken unfinished puzzle
but most of all
i need to be enough for me
because i need to learn to love myself first
before i can start to love others.
