The Bleak Pacific 1
At moonset, before dawn
a thick mist spreads all over
the fleet made of 20 boats
with straw-made scarecrows
sails toward the enemy’s camp
The soldiers
shout and beat drums
to fake an attack
the enemies are tricked
shoot arrows toward the target
soon the scarecrows
get more than 100,000 arrows
The story of the Three Kingdoms
Zhuge Liang borrowed arrows
with thatched boats
made the Pacific Ocean grow
more and more sorrow
Zhuge Liang is my ancient hero
wish I were the soldier
the drummer too
always admire his halo
a thick mist spreads all over
the fleet made of 20 boats
with straw-made scarecrows
sails toward the enemy’s camp
The soldiers
shout and beat drums
to fake an attack
the enemies are tricked
shoot arrows toward the target
soon the scarecrows
get more than 100,000 arrows
The story of the Three Kingdoms
Zhuge Liang borrowed arrows
with thatched boats
made the Pacific Ocean grow
more and more sorrow
Zhuge Liang is my ancient hero
wish I were the soldier
the drummer too
always admire his halo
