Unhinged
The wind gathered in ivory skies
& caressed me in its folds
as I picked you from the petals of your rebirth
Drowning in the silence of your eyes
& the snow tasted like fresh blood smelled that night
Unfurling in its slumber
Had I known better
That alone would have saved me from my sins
& caressed me in its folds
as I picked you from the petals of your rebirth
Drowning in the silence of your eyes
& the snow tasted like fresh blood smelled that night
Unfurling in its slumber
Had I known better
That alone would have saved me from my sins
