Unfamiliar Reflection
I Saw This Girl Today With A Smile On Her Face.
It Was Weird, Somehow
No One Ever Smiles These Days Just For No Reason,
Everyone Has Bitch Face.
I Looked At Her,
Puzzled
She Looked Back The Same Way,
So I Turned From The Mirror
And Backed The Fuck Away.
It Was Weird, Somehow
No One Ever Smiles These Days Just For No Reason,
Everyone Has Bitch Face.
I Looked At Her,
Puzzled
She Looked Back The Same Way,
So I Turned From The Mirror
And Backed The Fuck Away.

I really liked the turn in this one. It changes the poem with the second read through. Catching ourselves in a action of a random smile or something else there is a moment our body is foreign to us. This piece captured that feeling well. Nicely done.
