Love You To Death
I hope that you are comfortable as you're hanging from your wrists
This was not my only option but the voices did insist
My initial thought was that we could've seen eye to eye, well obviously it didn't go as I had planned because my knife is inside your thigh
As I clean up your blood and plastic wrap pieces of your dismembered body I ponder upon ways to explain your unfortunate fatality
It won't take much to convince a jury that my defense is you drove me to temporary insanity.

The beauty of rain
It's like a symphony from the sky.
Pounding drums on the roof
Serenades on the windows

Cold, sharp blade in hand as I begin
to cut deeply in, nice and slow
I feel my heat begin to rise
The moment your blood starts to flow

Dirty Petals
She was summers last sunflower writing a letter to July,
As though one final correspondence would make an easier goodbye.
Already she could feel them, the approaching winds of change, an autumn she'd never see, both beautiful and strange.
As the heats embrace got softer,
She watched all the leaves fall and settle
She had one last look for love within her few remaining petals
Though the sun had made a promise she knew it was one that he forgot
As her final petals fell to the dirt,
He loves me
He loves me not.
