Google define: remorse
can't seem to help
myself or her
walking through shades
depths inexplicable
deep as ocean trenches
he tried to extract her
from pressures
of undersea submersion
crushing her spirit,
body and mind
emerging from darkened pool
body clasped in his frail grasp
he let his life
bleed into her
second chance
preceeding
an ever dark future
she grew heavy in his arms
as sharks drew near
myself or her
