Man of Mine
Man of Mine
When I think of him, a smile appears across my face
In my hollowed mind, he fills the empty space
I love it when he makes me laugh
This he has tuned, to a fine craft
He's tentative, kind and all man
Pick me up, sweep me off my feet
He's the kind of man, that will and can
Set his mind to it, the job is complete
Strong in character and in mind
Without his shirt, he sure looks fine
He never keeps me waiting, always on time
In my heart I feel utterly sublime
When he plays guitar, it sings to my heart
Guitar chords and melodies, all become a part
Strong with might, he always protects
When he looks at me, my defenses are low
My heart is rocking to and fro
By candlelight, he takes my hand
With promises intertwined in a gold band
If you see this man of mine
You will not be able to stray his mind
Because he belongs to me, till the end of time
