Master Sailors
We were two boats floating on an unknown sea
Riding the tides, falling deep into the current
One that swept us away in only moments
Yet felt to me like a lifetime
You and I, we were master sailors
Maybe we're drowning, maybe we're sea sick
Because our boat is failing to hold us
Our compass no longer guides us
And these waves are surely sinking us
