Stench of Adultery
Stench of Adultery
I could smell the stench of Adultery
As he entered the room
His eyes sullen, Grace broken
Bitter kiss as he slid by
My mind swarming with doom
Not even two words spoken
I refuse to let myself cry
I knew he was up to something loathsome
Late night dinners, odious hours
While I sit at home lonesome
His nights out had become copius
Would love to put a knife to his throat
Sneaking around for all to see
Sitting there smug and to gloat
Use a pillow, O'delight that would be
I smell her scent, on his clothes
Take a match, watch them burn
A lesson this time, he will learn
Pack my bags, walk outside
Last look at the house we reside
Go up in flames, what a glorious sight
