Walk the Wire

Walk the Wire

I enclose myself between these four walls
I sit and talk with my demons
I hear them screaming,  with haunting calls
They tell me their lies, with no reasons
Not good enough, you need to die, I don't reply
Was a little girl, with voices in my head
So many times, I wished I were dead
They haunt my mind every single day
Feel like I'm on a tightrope, walking the wire
They always tell me your gonna pay
I try to resist them, I soon tire
Do I give in to relentless voices
To succumb to their demands, end it all
There'd be no voices, or wrong choices
I take to my drawer, pull out the revolver
I will make them all a believer
Cock back the hammer, take a breath
I pull the trigger, then there's death
No more sinister calls inside my head
Only silence, for this I bled
