Picking Sides
Why do I feel a need to choose
when both sides of the coin
reflect truth from a different perspective?
Perhaps my truth lies embedded in the edge
too hidden for my thoughts to decipher.

Truth is such a tricky word. No 2 perspectives ever entirely mesh. I always say go with your gut.

Yes, my normal reaction, but at times, can leave me with an upset tummy later. Sometime it is better to debate in a civil manner, where both warring parties may shed some light for the other see.

LOL !! Honest are my words here. Went to reply to your comment and was reading my write before scrolling to you comment and noticed the error you pointed out. Changed it, then read your comment.
Some minds "two" quicker for mine, for I wrote it, edited it a few times, posted it, edited it again and still did not catch it until now. :-)
Thanks Poe, the visit, the English lesson and kind comment.

so true... dialectical divisions are everywhere... and the nature of free will, choosing "sides" and "directions" in a universe of dimensions is really getting down to the crux of the whole thing I'd say. Thank you for inspiring me to think and feel on a dull and dreary Saturday!

Re: Re. Picking Sides
Human nature, past experiences sometimes causes a rush to judgment, but then upon reflecting deeper we sometimes find the answer is more muddled than we first realized.

I have found this to almost always be the case. The truth is not a one-way street, in many instances it lies within the center line.

Yes, he did!
LOL, and they call mine a "Smart Phone", at least my laptop knows how to spell. Perhaps I will start writing poems within my vocabulary, but then who wants to read a bunch of Ifs, ands & buts.
Your visits informative and always welcome.

Like you, I have found sometimes one must flip the coin a few times to appreciate both sides of it and then only a preference is the "honest truth".

Re: wisdom
My wisdom, if it is, did not come as standard equipment, but learned from many mistakes in life, yet keeping the results in mind.

Aww yes, the fine art of fencewalking, a good politician's mainstay. Also works well when dealing with children, parents, misc. relatives, friends, acquaintances, and strangers. At times, the best course of action to avoid a war.
Wise words, you have spoken.
