dating back to the fourteenth or maybe
the fifteenth century
but then I guess
once you've finally settled
upon somethin' ..

said to be haunted by the ghost of lady jane grey, who apparently slept there the night before she went back to london to be beheaded .. although I'm guessing that wasn't her reason for going back to london, simply to be dead headed .. :)

The inn was actually built in 1450, and yes, lady Jane was much later, but that wasn't really my point ..
