I believe you have already found the true nature of the object sought here, for it appears like a gentle rain from the poetry you splash upon your page.
And like the above comment, the last stanza is a nourishing puddle, left to be absorbed by the reader.

and with the one for whom it is written - my baby daughter, every moment is but a dream. Like any other parent, it is not possible to think of anything whilst relishing the joy they bring- hence the poem, concieved whilst putting her
to bed.
