Whats a boy to do?
An ode to Natasha Khan
We walked arm in arm
Yet she is cold to the touch
The fire I still feel inside,
Are her feelings now dead and gone?
So I turned and asked her
'Do you still love me?'
And when she looked away
Words she would no longer share with me
Becoming more distant and cold with every passing day
I have loved her so long
Fear her feelings are dead and gone
My hesitant kisses at night
Soon erased in tears
My dark dreams where you are gone
Train wreck mind just dragging me down
Then I ask you now, what's a boy to do?
I offered to take her away
Maybe we could work things out
And for a moment she did not speak
Then shared words filling me with dismay
“Over the times we've shared
It's all blackened out
And my bat lightning heart
Wants to fly away”
I have loved her so long
Know her feelings are now dead and gone
No more hesitant kisses at night
Its all erased in tears
My waking nightmare you are now gone
Train wreck mind just dragging me down
Then I ask you now, what's a boy to do?
What's a boy to do?
