In the depths of my solitude my mind feels free
Free from the chaos of an unpleasant reality
Free to create a utopia of how I wish things could be
Free to remove all of the deep pain I'm feeling internally
Free from the debtors prison that capitalism brings
Free from the fear that flashing red lights conceives
Free from the anxiety of how the future will be for my seeds
Free to create the blueprints for all of my family's destinies
Free from the foolish hate that indoctrinated racism breeds
Free to journey to an exotic land that exhibits true equality
Free to have intellectual conversations regardless if we disagree
Free from a vindictive mother who wishes that I was deceased
Free from the heartache and pain of having lost my loving granny
Free to envision a unified country that fights against police brutality
I guess the only place I can truly be free is in my dreams and this poetry
I just want to be free to be the man GOD created and be a righteous King
