Better off unknown
Once with sorrow,
Once with forgiveness,
Several times of feeling hopeless.
Leaving it all behind,
Last I lost and last I find.
Your better off unknown,
Even if the pain is being shown.
The smile on my face and the questioned look in my eyes,
Why does it show so much just tell me why!?
Watching every step trying to keep my balance,
Watching like a movie but the sound is silent.
It's alright,
I'll erase the pain and pay the price.
Don't try to search through my eyes,
You'll never know.
Just like I said before

Thank you so much! I was going through a stage of depression when I found out a guy I was in love with committed suicide over another girl. But this is just one of many poems I wrote about him though.

Tragic circumstances but this is a beautiful poem that emerged out of the sadness and pain. well done for pulling through the wreckage of life.
the word salvager comes to mind when i think about the trials of life,and too often we have to rescue ourselves from the shipwreck and flames.
