The Heart
I lie curled up in the chambers of your heart
The soft beats of your life reverb against my skin
When I breath I taste you in the air
it's uncanny, the willingness that I have to throw away my independence when you're around
I think it's because of my slow realization, that while everything ends that shouldn't be a reason to live in loneliness
I crawl into the crevices of my own mind
Unsure and indecisive and believing of nothing
I am not deserving of any kind of love, I have done nothing for it
But accept my weary heart because it beats with you in mind
The soft beats of your life reverb against my skin
When I breath I taste you in the air
it's uncanny, the willingness that I have to throw away my independence when you're around
I think it's because of my slow realization, that while everything ends that shouldn't be a reason to live in loneliness
I crawl into the crevices of my own mind
Unsure and indecisive and believing of nothing
I am not deserving of any kind of love, I have done nothing for it
But accept my weary heart because it beats with you in mind
