THE BALLAD OF MISS MOLLY MALICE

“Deep in the heart of Elder wood
Are the sounds of the witch’s laments
Bound by craft of shadowy rooks
This is the dark path of your descent

Fire flickers within lantern holes
Carved in the guise of childish grins
To the place where Abaddon’s souls
Howl in delight when torture begins

Beg of you, o wayward stranger
Pray, stray not from the screaming ties
Haunting ones do surely linger
Before Miss Molly Malice tonight”
