The Mask Of Immortality Breaks

I saw him once,
a figure there.
Standing still and watching me,
if only I'd known his plan for me.
But now we are here,
my death and me.
I knew he was there,
but not once did I think for me.
Slowly I sob,
as my last breath leaves me.
