Inconceivable to digest

unallocated
Since you have been at rest
Grateful
for you peace

devastated
paralysing grief

in mourning
Seeking no relief

this is something very special indeed dealing as it does with loss and grief, as sad as this write was I found it strangely uplifting - there is real beauty in these words :-)

Thank you David. It is about the loss of my mother (over 10 years ago now). I grieve continuously and am forever changed. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross wrote the following which provides me peace: "The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same. Nor should you want to."

Thank you Ahavati. It is a subject close to my heart. I have written about my mother's death before as it strangely keeps her near... in memory and spirit.
