What became of that night

It was dark that night,the moon barely gave light
We lit a fire for none could hardly see,
That night in gethsemane,
The Master did weep and pray,
His mind and heart were heavy that day
None of you could stay vigilant,
Is what he did say
Try to bare with me,I am not worthy you see,
to relay this story of the garden of gethsemane.
The Master gathered us to tell of what would come,
You will deny me when all is said and done
No,no...it is not true,we all love and worship,
We could never deny you
Then they were there with swords and sheilds,
The one called judas went to betray with a kiss
All this time you have been with us and you would do this?
One did lash out and cut off an ear,
But the Master restored him, his time was drawing near,
They took him away into the night
The sheep, they followed,but stayed out of sight
Judas did leave and wept so bitterly
I have betrayed the Christ,Heaven has no use of me.
They beat and mocked the lover of our souls,
They tried and traded him for a murderer we were told
He hung there and looked on, and spoke tenderly
Take care of my mother,she means much to me.
And for you on my side,Heaven you will see.
Father forgive all who do hate,they are blinded by evil
The one who confuses and separates.
Then it was done,his spirit did leave
They took his body wrapped in a tomb
Some came to grieve over the next 2 days,
One came and found the stone rolled away
She found a stranger and cried and begged
Please tell where they took him? We all must know.
I am here before you, and now you must go.
Tell all today what you have seen..speak of my death,
And now victory. For soon i will go to my father,
But all of you will get to see
The one before you really is me.
When I return to Heaven above
I will send the Comforter to strengthen your love.
Be there for each other,full of charity
So when I come again,I will gather all of you to me.
