Poetry was what introduced me to love;
first as a concept, then
as a person.
Poetry helped explicate my love;
first as song recommendations
then as songs being written about each other.
Poetry let me live past the break from my love;
first you read the past,
then write the heart.
Now poetry is just another thing with nothing left to lose.
And when Iron and Ice are ruling your soul, neither will you.
