creepSHOW
Spectres composed of insomniac dreams
Phantom echo's bounce round grey beams
Daylight bleeds into inevitable silence
The prelude of images and audible violence
My mind plays tricks like it's Halloween
A horror show that's free and obscene
The antagonist has a trustworthy face
My duvet is no safe hiding place
Jason or Freddy and all the other lies
So ill prepared for those familiar eyes
My protectors always arrive far too late
Perhaps this creep-show is just my fate
How can I ever truly fall asleep
Dreaming of this decaying zombie creep
His evil gifts cannot be reimbursed
Meat for zombies and forever cursed
I stay up all night at the rave
To stay awake to spit on his grave
The chemicals protect my broken head
That will not allow me to raise the dead
Safe from you in my haze of drugs
And all the dressed up zombie thugs
Perhaps because its only once a year
I guess I have no reason left to fear
Fall apart, what does it mean
The corrupt things that I have seen
Like VHS nasties recorded in long-play
Become obsolete and eventually fade away
fade away perhaps one day
Phantom echo's bounce round grey beams
Daylight bleeds into inevitable silence
The prelude of images and audible violence
My mind plays tricks like it's Halloween
A horror show that's free and obscene
The antagonist has a trustworthy face
My duvet is no safe hiding place
Jason or Freddy and all the other lies
So ill prepared for those familiar eyes
My protectors always arrive far too late
Perhaps this creep-show is just my fate
How can I ever truly fall asleep
Dreaming of this decaying zombie creep
His evil gifts cannot be reimbursed
Meat for zombies and forever cursed
I stay up all night at the rave
To stay awake to spit on his grave
The chemicals protect my broken head
That will not allow me to raise the dead
Safe from you in my haze of drugs
And all the dressed up zombie thugs
Perhaps because its only once a year
I guess I have no reason left to fear
Fall apart, what does it mean
The corrupt things that I have seen
Like VHS nasties recorded in long-play
Become obsolete and eventually fade away
fade away perhaps one day
