Bubble
I've lived a million lives
and in the echos hear me sing
for so sweet, so strong, so silent,
this is all that I can be.
Revisit and reshape,
relive and then rewrite,
chase the magic of discovery,
try to escape the suffering.
For all I've seen in all my time
has led me back to here,
to a place where pieces shift and change
but on the whole remains the same.
The bubble that we live in,
the horror I've created,
the trap of never ending,
the cycle of the changing,
words I speak and listen now
I've changed again and again,
but the one thing I've discovered
is that you end where you begin.
Life sprouted form the darkness
and that's where it all will end, collapse into the suffering,
free me from all I can be.
There is no future, there is no past
there is no here, there is no now.
All we have are choices, but these to run out.
No such thing as eternity, it's all a game to me.
So in a flash, or in a flood
the cycle begins again.
A bubble we can never escape,
not even the Gods among men.
and in the echos hear me sing
for so sweet, so strong, so silent,
this is all that I can be.
Revisit and reshape,
relive and then rewrite,
chase the magic of discovery,
try to escape the suffering.
For all I've seen in all my time
