Remission (A Poem Of Autumn)

The and of tourist season is a blessing for many. Or that's how I interpret this. I feel the same way about the mountains.

I can see the endless patchwork quilt, smell the needles, and saw a flock of Canadian Geese just today. . .

Thank you for the kind feedback <3 That comment of yours was lovely too :) I live in a tourist town in WA, and when end of August rolls around (usually) they begin clearing out. Seemingly it's a couple of weeks early this year, and I wonder if the unseasonably cool weather and the smog from Canada had anything to do with it. I'll take it though ;) I feel like I'm getting too old and curmudgeonly.
