The Watercolor

The clouds rolled in full of hellfire and fury
And the rain began to fall right away
Rolling down my painting and mixing the colors
Killing my masterpiece
And breaking my heart
After spending so long to make it just so
It was gone in an instant
And I swear I heard Mother Nature laugh
The bitch
She had lent me the sun for days on end
While I painted my still life
And brought it to real life
Just to watch it be washed away
