One red rose
in a white bouquet
Purity & innocence
has
gone a whore’in
A vestal virgin
has been defiled
along with all her vestal sisters—
but it was all their choice;
it was all their decision.
Curiosity & desire
built
A longing
For the risqué & naughty—
An angel of love
Raised in forced purity
A sister, a nun in training —
Everyone’s favorite
innocent Altar girl
becoming a wench
of
sexual freedom —
A woman who seeks
her own sexuality &
decides to fulfill her desires
Her & her friends
are the fey incarnate
Angels of love
on a mission of
self discovery

I found this poem interesting. My grandmother was very superstitious and refused to have red and white flowers together because she said it was bringing death in to the house. In this poem you seem to describe the death of a personality. The deadening of old thoughts in to the discovery of new ones. It all fits together rather nicely.
