In My Simplicity

Lord, I have sinned much;
I have no alibi;
If it were up to the world;
I would be alone and left to die;
Just a vessel;
With no great ability;
No noble lineage;
No heritage of royalty;
I praise you Lord for your mercy;
And your sacrifice for me;
I give you what I have;
My undying loyalty;
Bless my friends and family;
Keep them in your will;
Help me to see past myself;
And in turmoil;
To listen and be still;
I thank you Father for your patience;
For you alone are worthy;
For your charity and kindness;
As boundless as the sea;
For when these days are over;
With you is where I will be.
