humans cannot fly
little did she know
that humans
cannot fly
she dreamt
of one day
doing just that
and that too
with him
so they left
for the cliff top
so they leapt
and fly they did
soaring high
over the valleys
circling for while
above the homes
they left behind
till they came back
hovering over
their last belongings
which they dropped
when
they took the leap
those belongings
now badly out of shape
a mangled
yet entwined wreck
she was right
her dream
was right
he was right
too
that
humans cannot fly
that humans
cannot fly
she dreamt
of one day
doing just that
and that too
with him
so they left
for the cliff top
so they leapt
and fly they did
soaring high
over the valleys
circling for while
above the homes
they left behind
till they came back
hovering over
their last belongings
which they dropped
when
they took the leap
those belongings
now badly out of shape
a mangled
yet entwined wreck
she was right
her dream
was right
he was right
too
that
humans cannot fly
