Country Life
The morning fog lingers like a blanket on the hills, cows silently spread out over the pasture, some here, some there
A mother deer keeps a watchful eye on her two fawns, while nibbling her breakfast
She doesn't stay long, taking a shortcut through the brush down to the creek
Redwinged black birds rest on top of the trees, as if they're little spies, chirping across the yard
The sun makes it's way through, soon the morning dew will dry and the spiderweb won't be as pretty
So much to do, but I just want to sit here and enjoy the country life, the day has just begun
