Bear

He was seven foot tall
When he stood upright
Never tested on a basketball court
I suspect he’d be a hall of famer
In a strange way he was cute
He certainly had a playful side
He also had a grumpy side
And anyone would do well
Not to cause him any upset

He sported white fur and a black nose
Very sharp looking teeth
Strong enough to break bone
A scary set of sharp claws
He could easily decapitate you
With one savage blow
A more than competent hunter
One of the few hunters of man

This bear was quite unusual
One day as high as a kite
Next day down in the dumps
One day playful and happy
Next day angry and mean
His behaviour could not be trusted
And medication might be of help
His psychologist’s diagnosis
He was a Bi-Polar Bear
