I bow down before nature
the oceans deep
forests lush with life
each caress my inner being
worship the stars
a reflection
of what we once were
they are named in our honor
feel me as I enter
quietly & gracefully
tenderly paint the page
with a love of the heavens
I light upon a mountain top
take breathe in the redwoods
this is where my soul abides
my dark has been allowed to shine
would you see my light
if not for the shadows cast?
I seek to be a balm
a place to find zen
I meditate & let my third eye open
take off the night
I've donned for a time
let my inner child
come out to shine
she dances on moonbeams
in the cosmos
where she is home
the creator knows her
see's the real lady
he made to glow
cleanses her of the ash
she played in for a moment
sets her in the sky
where she can illuminate a mind

This was tranquil, actually. The interplay of light and dark gave way to some grey area to contemplate. I always wondered if some of us are ready to let our inner child come out and play and what repercussions we might not be ready for. Nice write, Crim.

My Beautiful Brenda, this ink in breathtaking and brings such tranquility to chaotic stems this evening...I think of toes touching stars and a peaceful ride above the earth so high...such a lovely place to think of being in...

My beautiful Dark Angel, you've created a thing of beauty here that will fill the unsettled corners of my soul and warm them with peace and calm. That last stanza paints such a lovely picture. It's so like a child to sit down and play in the ash. I love that you dusted her off and let her shine. So much love...
