Societal Illusions

Illusions in my mind;
Pasts, memories behind;
Silence loudly speaks,
Present fading into time;
Nightmares turn beautiful,
Daydreams, a mirage;
The future is caving in;
Would it be my demise?

Dark clouds hovering;
Things ain't just working;
Hope seems bleak
And they tell us, "just go for it".
Nothing has changed,
Guess I missed it; am I deranged?
Or was it too minute
I needed a microscope to observe it?

Problems, problems, problems,
What are the solutions?
Annihilation, could be one.
"No, that's genocidal!"
He went in all Kamikaze;
Tried to change the Federal State;
Now he can barely eat;
A service turned a deathly wish.

Thoughts in my mind;
Future, I hope turns fine.
Silence loudly speaks
In the hearts of those to do right.
Till the land turns green;
Clouds, glow with celestial sheen.
Would it be my demise?
No, it's when I become alive.
