Rollercoaster

It's time to lay my past to rest
and lift this weight up from my chest
it's time to let the memories fade
and look ahead, to better days

I don't what I'm going to do
but know that it will be with you
through highs and lows, let come what may
I'll be with you through better days

I'm off this rollercoaster ride
that tears away at my insides
I really know of nothing else
I worry I might lose myself

I feel this beating in my chest
that I thought had been laid to rest
it hadn't gone, just let it fade
been saving it for better days

I know just what I'm going to do
I'm gonna leave it up to you
through good and bad, let come what may
I trust that we'll see better days

we’re off this rollercoaster ride
anxiety can now subside
and though I know of nothing else
I hope that I might find myself
