Leaves Of Goodbye (Original song by The End I Defeat) (my band)
[Verse 1]
I know Ive been here for some time
You know, Life just passes by.
But on this windy ledge,
Where freedom meets revenge
Isolated, devistation.
[Chorus 1]
Is this the end?
Only I can remember,
The secrets hid under
The truth that stills us.
The words are swelling under.
[verse 2]
So if you wanted honesty,
Id better step away or Jump to the heavens,
Where their chanting is lifted.
Only you Can cut the rope,
And free me from these lies,
Only you can Bring the light to my drowning eyes.
You think what you could do
What I can be but in the end.
[bridge]
Its over, my soul is finally free.
[chorus 2]
The chanting is music,
The lies are only dreams,
Rumors are subsided by the falling leaves,
Darkness turns to light
The funeral begins.
[verse 3]
Will someone say those two words?
To make it fit in? the river fades to black,
The rocks come in close, gravity is weightless.
But its you, I'll miss the most.
[chorus 1]
