The unknown

Side by side we stood in the midst of a crowd with our imaginations running wild.
Aroma of your sweat fumes as I anxiously try to peek at your face...1...2...look away. It was your turn to glimpse at me, I look away to not draw attention or speculation.
As the heat and jitters engulfs me I became dumbstruck when our eyes became four...I coached myself mentally to keep calm meanwhile you strip me down to my caramel skin.
I imagine you hovering over me with your six foot chocolate frame placing my palm on your chest connecting the flow of emotions and thoughts in one.
Then it began to rain...as the droplets became showers my body became wet inside out. Then reality struck! As my wedding ring entangled with my hair, simultaneously she walked over and hugged you...
Not knowing I'm yours and you were mine we both belong to other people webbed by circumstances.
