Hear them warn the world
Chattering away
“Fiercest on the planet -
There it goes.” They say.

Killing just for sport
Every young one’s fear -
Seeking out their parents
And all that they hold dear.

Tales of it roam far
Scaring this worlds life
Causing them to hide away
Avoiding all the strife.

Listen to the animals
Hunker down so tight
Fear of the fiercest ensure
They don’t sleep at night.

“Quiet! Else he’ll hear us.
Stay still as you can.
Hope he doesn’t notice
That creature we call ‘Man’.”
