Der Ring des Nibelungen
Used plain 8.5" by 11" white paper. Pencil, black pen, soft white eraser, black and grey charcoal. Text written in Illustrator, using Font Algerian 36 point... The image is that of Brünnhilde, and Wotan... Wotan being shaded in the background with his spear, as Brünnhilde, the Valkyrie, in the light is up front:

Woe unto you, Brave Wotan,
The Father of Wars
On the day of reckoning,
The all-powerful ring is now cursed
The War against Wälsung
From Fricka thyne wife
Your beloved children
Siegmund and Brünnhilde will die,
As Valhalla burns
Until the rings powers returned,
returned from whence forged
And buried in The Rhine,
Once again guarded, by the Rhine maidens

Hello, hows it going man. Thank you, love classical music and art. This is inspired by Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" and all of act III. The classical story of Brünnhilde, and her defiance against Wotan (Odin) an his pursuit and capture / sentence of her.

Thank you for the backstory! That definitely adds to the interest in this piece.. I am a fan of classical as well, so that's nice to hear :)
