Forget The Family Silver

I wrote a dozen poems
in my head
On the walk to the shops, through
hills , birdsongs and dancing ponies

I mused on the state of society
Bemoaned the baby boomers for selling children's futures
All for what
a cabinet of tiny trinkets?

Then

I came back to you
How you make me laugh and feel happy

Our little trinity of life
