The Headlights

As I walked down the street
Not knowing it would be the last time I would stand on my feet

I walked away from what seemed to be an awful site
I've seen my parents fight
They were passed arguing, why do they even bother
I've seen them screaming and hitting each other
I had to walk out of there
How could this be fair?
It made me scared, tears was all that can come out
What was that all about

As i crossed the street, my mind full of thoughts
I've forgotten everything they have fought
A sudden light blinded me
I couldn't see

A sudden pain arrived
A thought came through my head; Have I died?
I heard noises; car honks, screams, Cries, ambulance and police horns
It suddenly became so quiet; it was Like a relaxing breeze, blowing Through a field of corn

After what seemed like a relaxing nap
I felt an open gap
I slowly opened my eyes; not knowing where I was
Was I in a dream? Just cause...
The incident replayed just like a movie
My life re-whined just like a story

The light in my dream slowly vanished
I was surrounded by darkness
Was the light, my life getting drained from me
Here I was, floating in an empty void, nothing to see

My life became non existent
Everything seemed so distant
My life ended after witnessing a fight
Last thing I saw was a car's headlight
