Trapped

Have you ever been trapped?
With no way of escaping?
Trapped in a place that's called... your head...your mind?
Voices in your head telling you things; horrible things;
Your alone, your scared, thinking what did I do?
Screaming for help but nobody can hear?
Lost, abandoned, pain, scared, unwanted, worthless, dread, sickening...
Heard people calling you names behind your back?
Wanting to be dead, to see who would actually care?
Wanting to disappear from existence?
Looking for help; but none can be found?
Being ignored from those who are dear to you?
Seeking for something to make you want to live;
but you know everything will come to an end one day or an other?
Being trapped in a cage yet the door is wide open...
You're hopeless, devastated;
Your life is like a candle;
Yet the flame is burning out?
Your knife is your only friend;
Cutting to the rhythm of your breathing?
Feeling as if your trapped in water;
Yet trying so hard to swim back up...but the water keeps sucking you back in?
Falling down a never ending pit;
Yet waiting for the collision with the ground;
Wanting that collision to end your suffering?
This is what anxiety is; or is it?
