Personal poetry should be written based on the author's feelings. However, published poetry is more methodical in its composition. I realize that this is personal poetry, but in a public forum you should expect comments like mine. If you are not open to honest critiques from others about how your poem could be improved for a larger audIence, perhaps you should refrain from noting that you encourage honest feedback.
