I do not need you
to have a heart like mine,
bottomless
and overflowing,
with love to give to me.

Yes,
Love me, but -

Love me with all of
your logic and rationale,
Like you can't figure out
The sense
In being apart.

And,
If -

Your head leads you
to me
My heart leads me
to you
Then we are
each half
of the same
equation
With the same
eternal answer.
