Me, I Haven't Heard it in Such a Long Time

If you all see an empty void when you look at me, it is no illusion.  
   
I am only what I destroy and only at the moment of destruction.  
In the center of the Milky Way there is black hole Sagittarius A, the mass of four million suns molded by God into the size of our solar planet Mercury.  
   
There is no return from through my orbit  
where acquaintances are doomed to revolve forever  
and lovers beyond  
vanish as a flash of light,  
what their lives are to me.  
   
Am I    
the Devil?    
The Devil disguises himself as an angel of light.  
Look into me, the absence of space and time  
   
I am emptiness.  
I am nonexistence.  
I am nought.  
   
My heart is gone, but its entity remains  
without essence  
for the ships sailing on.  
They sail on.  
They sail on and on and on and on  
not able to find a tent  
because there is no light there.  
   
And if you should happen upon me,  
I pity you, fool.  
I could not allow you to break my massive wanting you apart
even if I'd hope to.
