Evidence For Jesus as the Messiah

We read that when the Messiah appears
"they will look upon Him whom they have pierced and will mourn for him as for an only son"(Zechariah 12.9-14).
 
Now He appears over Jerusalem (the Mt of Olives) so as to save Israel at the time of the invasion led by Russia, the invasion "by all nations"(Ezekiel 38-39; Zechariah 14.2).
So His appearing should be a time of great rejoicing by the Jews in Israel.
But instead here they are "weeping as for an only son" who has died.
Why would the Jews be mourning when they should be happy about God saving them from certain annihilation as a nation ??!!
Its because they discover that the Messiah is the One "whom they pierced" long ago, for which they are sorry, terribly sorry,
Sorry enuff to "mourn as for an only son"
Who had been slain.
For that is exactly what happened two thousand years ago.
 Jesus was slain (executed as an evil doer, a criminal, a revolutionary.against Rome).
 
Yes, the fact that the Jews in Israel mourn and weep when the Messiah saves Israel =
evidence that Jesus is who the Messiah turns out to be !!!
